this morning i ran a fun x-mas 5k run. to my surprise, with trainers, i ran 15:58.03. I have been running for about 3 weeks off and on. This week I averaged about 50 minutes every run.
I will be running my first track season since high school (graduated in '08). Is it logical to aim for mid-14's? say by late May. Reason i ask is because i hated the 2 mile in high school. I was always the 800/1600 double. If so what kind of mileage should i get to to achieve a decent seeded time by march to get into the big meets.
thanks in advance
