I am a former good runner (221/67). When I raced I was about 150 lbs, now I am 160-165. I used to run 100+ miles a week now I run 50. I have a job that requires me to fly 1-2 times a month and generally spend 10-12 hours a day a sitting on my ass.
Occasionally when I was competing my feet would fall asleep. I thought it was because my shoes were half a size to small. Once I went up in shoe size I never had it happen again.
Anyhow, to avoid a diet I want to keep running. However, my feet are killing me. They are a little swollen, but are extremely painful. They are not falling asleep anymore they just hurt. I am running in the same model of shoe I have run in since I was 19. I can not run more than 10 minutes without being reduced to walking home. I am stretching. I have my shoes raced extremely loose (Lydriad lace)I have no idea what is going on. Does anyone have any experience with this?
