yesterday i was 144 before my run, 141 after my run, and 149 after dinner. Not sure if that's my biggest or if it's a lot, but what is the biggest change you've ever had in a day?

I lost 17 pounds in 24 hours for wrestling. Almost all of that was water weight that I had gained after weighing in for a match 4 days prior.
Probably like four or so lbs.
Sometimes I weigh as low as 95-96 and sometimes I weigh as much as 100-101. It's really weird.
Salty foods tip the scale I believe.
10 or so pounds.
I think its important to weigh yourself at the same time every day. Otherwise, you're comparing apples with oranges. I weigh myself the first thing in the morning and pay more attention to the % body fat than my overall weight. I dont get too excited about daily fluctuations as long as my training and diet havent varied greatly recently.
Didn't weigh myself but probably the time when I ran a 50k on 5k training. I was so tired afterwords that I fell asleep before I ate something so probably lost a good bit.
yeah I bet. Carbs also tip the scale.
Go a day with just eating veggies, and protein and just drink water and you'll really see the weight melt off.
Weighed in at 139 for a grappling tournament and was 152 the next morning.
Runner girl, how tall are you?
5'10
Before Long Run: 135
Immediately After Long Run: 131
2.5hr After Long Run (following brunch buffet): 141
fredo, when we went to Fire and Ice over early return last year, i gained 7 pounds and was uncomfortably full until the next morning.
I've gone from ~118 to ~113 after a long run in the heat. Water weighs about 2.2 lbs per liter, so just drinking a nalgene is 2+ lbs. A big dinner can easily add another 2 or 3. I'd say that the most fluctuation in one day is 5-8 lbs.
149-160 is most recent, probably was a lot more i nthe summer when i would do a long, sweaty 12 miler.
I got you all beat.
First off, I'm a pasty mostly English kid.
Secondly, I weigh about 175 pounds usually, but still skinny.
Last year I ran 20 miles/2:05 in 100 degree heat.
When I started that day I was 173, when I finished the run I was 162.
Ended the day at 169 after taking in a gallon of fluids post run.
I've had a couple days before that one and after that were near the same level, and I decided to measure and log it after a similar thread about this last year.
