ok, unlike most of you I actually do use the vast majority of tools in my tool shed. I'm always fixing things, if you owned a home (and not an apartment) OR knew how to fix things, as I do, and not just call someone whenever something breaks then you would understand why those tools are not useless, only you are.
Its almost universally true that the set of presents usually associated with men, tools, cars, tvs, food, all have some value, while the gifts usually associated with women, books, clothing, jewelry, bullcrap have questionable value.
If anything it says alot about how we value women in our society, and how we value men. A true feminist would be arguing for women to have power tools for instance, and not another scarf. That way she would be self reliant.
It seems most men nowadays are just closet homosexuals.
