One of the bigger problems with the USATF - USA Running circuit is that it's the last week in December and they still haven't accounced the schedule for 2011 which supposedly starts in a few weeks.
By the time they get a schedule announced, most of the top runners will already have most of 2011 planned out from a training and racing standpoint.
Think about who you are dealing with.
Circuit is a joke. It has little or no meaning outside the circle jerk of a few involved.
that whole usatf pub relations operations in indy is an 1960s Amateur Hour (old TV show from the 60s). no meet promos. no recent bios. crappy, jumpy videos from fly by nite art school students. no deep questions means no good quotes. sucky cliche photography from unpaid retired high school coaches. eew...
the series is up now on the USATF site, in the schedule for 2011 section. Looks like there won't be a USA championship marathon in 2011.

Since they usually occur in the fall, it's not really that big of a deal that they aren't posted yet.
Does anyone know if the Olympic Trials for the marathon will be like they were in 2008... men's the fall before, women late winter/early spring?
The men's and women's trials are in Houston in January 2012, same day.
fantasia and opie do not care about the distance runners.
