Please brojos,
Could you try checking what you write, at least for the main stuff we see first such as the Quote of the Day. A little more professionalism would be nice.

Fixed 'em.
There are always going to be typos on there for a short time, perhaps a few hours. I'm in a different part of the country from them and they may upload the home page when I'm sleeping, so whatever mistakes are present will be there until I wake up and check it. Or hey - I might just blow it off entirely if I want to watch Bugs Bunny cartoons, pork out on junk food or just don't feel like being bothered with the home page. But somebody gets 'round to it eventually.
But I agree; it really isn't looking too sharp to put the initial version of the QOTD online with as many obvious errors as there were today. If you could only see all the mistakes that have already been corrected before you saw them! Reading all the original typos is more entertaining some days than others. Once I came across something about a guy "who overseas the entire operation." Another was in regard to something that "gave us paws for concern." Maybe whoever wrote that was worried because he had a spell put on him that turned him into a tiger and he tried to make a pun out of it. Who knows? One runner was described as "pigeon toad." Half bird, half amphibian? Then there are the recurring typos, like "peeked our curiosity," "through out the results," "the guy who one the race," etc. There are other instances in which key words are left out entirely and others misspelled, making the message ambiguous or the intent difficult to discern. If I want to correct it, I have to guess at what they're trying to say.
I'm still waiting for a classic blooper headline with a double meaning, like "Police Toilet Stolen. Cops Have Nothing To Go On." But I'm sure we'll see one someday.
BTW, when it's all said and done, we still often leave a few typos up there to have the site "retain its character" and of course to generate message board talk.
Enjoy.
edit guy.
You are much to easy on this grammar Nazi troll.
