Ok, I know RW gets critiqued heavily on here, but what they publish and sell is amazing sometimes. I just saw today that they are selling a Boston Training Plan for $39.99.

It's a 16 week plan and the weekly mileage is 24, 28, 30, 30, 26, 35, 39, 34, 41, 43, 44, 41, 50, 44, 32, 21 for 562 total, an average of 36.4 (excluding the 2 week taper).
Why would anyone who qualified for Boston run such low mileage training for it?
Is this a normal training cycle for most Boston marathoners?
