Pooping seems like it is a purely mechanical process, and with everything intact there should not be any problem expelling waste... anyone care to enlighten me?
Also, how do you get things back to normal?

No, I defecate like clockwork.
It's a materials science problem, not a mechanical engineering one.
I clearly have a worse bowel situation the more I run - I find that it helps to pound a glass of water before I eat anything and another after I finish. Keeps things moving.

Your diet is very important, also the absence of any druugs, many of which could seriously mess you up.
To remove any blockage, (1) make sure you are not taking any medications, (2) take a series of water enemas, there is no limit to these, (3) drink plenty of pure water, and (4) improve your diet.
Yes pooping is primarily a mechanical process, and also a chemical one, i.e. certain food combinations and most all medications can cause problems.
I cannot lie. I am full of it.
