The final email with race day instructions, waivers, and race number's came out today. Is anyone else running this in 18 days? If so what's your number?

The Half here
Ah that brings back memories. Years ago, I met Goofy and he introduced me to his mother. One thing led to another and now I am a Goofy mother f***er.
Re-financed my house to pay the entry fee. Forked out an extra $40 for the carbo loading/pasta dinner. Freezing my ass off at the 5am line up. Running in the dark for the first hour. Legs cramping from the combination of no hills, non-stop concrete and cold. Only spectators were disney employees. Frost: in florida?? Start to finish temp went up 45 degrees. Sold my medal on e bay to cover the dinner. Sore quads for a month.
I've heard about last years start temperature... harsh.
I'm hoping for better this year, as it will be my first marathon!
Nothing but joggers.
I'll be there, shooting for 2:28ish
Don't look too much into last year's weather, that was an anomoly. The race happened to be on one of the coldest weekends ever recorded in Orlando. Typical temperatures for early January are in the upper 40's - mid 50's at race start and warming into the 60's by the finish.
Last year the half was even worse... 34 degrees, freezing rain, headwind for the first half.
ill be there. #145
looking to go 2:50-52. would love to run with someone if thats a goal for anyone else on here.
good luck to all
Ran in the first three they had.
Things NOT in the brochure:
Shuttle on race day ends at 4:20 AM.
Starts shuttling at 3:30 AM.
Black as coal at the start.
Walk you about 2 miles in the dark to the 'real' start line. First 3+ miles in Epcot. No spectators, and blaring music.
Spectators allowed in 'designated' spots. You will see them around 5, 9, 11, and somewhere around 18.
Ran on back roads behind some theme parks. It was like running down deserted roads.
Oh yeah, the parks are CLOSED. So, they are dark and gloomy.
Blaring Michael Bolton!!! around the ESPN Sports Park. I heard it double because it was an out and back part.
Then when you finish;
" sir, would you please make your way over here to the bus"
They want you out of the park before noon.
The upside?
I was back in my hotel room before 9:30 AM.
I was amazed that I ran a marathon and was in a hot shower at 9:45 AM.
