I need some motivation. Mine was chopping 11 seconds off my 1500 to get 4:01. Not my best time, but the best feeling!

Breaking 16 for the first time, 15:59.68! PR before that was 16:28.
breaking 10 in the 3200 during outdoor, all my team mates were there and stuff, first time under 10 and got a 9:56, good times
Lowering my 1,500m pr down from 4:16.2 to 4:05.5 and in the process winning Districts and out kicking the prior years District champion. So it was probably winning Districts when I was ranked 12th going into it based on pr's which was so special rather than the actual time drop.
Others would be the obvious time barriers.
:50 in the 400 (although it was a relay leg).
2:00 in the 800.
4:00 in the 1,500.
5:00 in the mile.
10:00 in the 3k.
9:00 in the 3k.
10:00 in the 2 mile.
9:00 in the 2 mile.
9:00 in the SC.
17:00 in the 5k.
16:00 in the 5k.
15:00 in the 5k.
20:00 in the 4 mile.
60:00 in the 10 mile.
90:00 in the 15 mile.
You get the idea. Breaking any time barrier in any distance.
I remember all of those!!
breaking 10 for the first time.
It was our class championships and I got second in 9:58 sprinting all out for the last 400
26:14- my first good cross race freshman year. the last race of the season,I was just happy to have an oppurtunity to race and had a 70 second PR
Mine would be setting my HS pr and school record of 4:26 in the 1600 at my regional qualifier meet.
What made it more memorable than the rest was because it was against guys with faster PRs and from much bigger schools. I went to a very small school (<150 in HS). It was a even/relaxed pace with a big pack all the way until 400 to go when everyone took off. It felt good passing all those guys for the win knowing none of them had a clue who I was.
First time under 4:20, beat a lot of guys that normally always out-kicked me. Started sprinting with 700 to go, probably could have ran a lot faster that day, but my dumbness was enough to break the field that day.
First time under 16 I ran 15:25, that was mind blowing at the time since it was almost a minute PR, but I was 4th or 5th, not as fun.
Breaking 60 in the 7th grade might take the cake. Ran like a 56 according to the expert hand timers, thought I was one bad mofo. I remember the kid who beat was a junior olympic champ, and boy oh boy did he crush me. I think that was when I first realized I should start running longer events.
36:51 for 7 miles at Falmouth. Might not seem huge to a lot of folks, but it was a big PR on that course for me and I'll never forget it. Same year I ran 32:18 for a road 10k and 1:10:26 for a 1/2. I guess that's more than one, but all three were big milestones for me and they all happened in the same year (2009) and all at big races. Can't wait to try to beat them all in 2011.
I ran a 1600 once as a freshman before being designated as a 800 guy for the majority of my HS career. Ran a 5:11 first meet of my HS career, pretty out of shape(ran 5:03 in 8th grade). Come senior year, the team is running a time trial early in the season and I asked to run the 1600m. Ran 4:35 all by myself, only one to break 5:00(sad, I know, but a testament to the horrific coaching we had.) A week later I got injured for the remainder of the season. Looking back I was thrilled to finally get under five and pissed the coaches never gave me more opportunities to run the event. So I "officially" never broke the 5 minute mile mark in HS.
