Big letdown, if you ask me.
Reminds me of the 'snakewoman' booth at the county fair when I was 14. Outside there was a huge mural of a voluptous, exotic-looking, mega-cleavage lady surrounded by pythons & such. I bought a ticket, went inside, and there was a skinny, pallid girl with stringy hair sitting on a chair with some garter snakes crawling around on the floor.
There is way more to it than that. The movie tripped me out too. But I liked it.
I think the main reason I liked it was because it really drew me in, I was totally engaged for the entire thing. Great acting across the board.

Ok, but please tell me the movie is not about doo doo.
I only went because my wife wanted to see it and it was date night, so I'm a good guy, right? Then, unbeknownst to me, an ex had a supporting role in the movie. That was awkward because she just found out about her.
And btw, it was boring.

Barbara Hershey?
I'm intrigued enough to want to see this movie. But I would never expect my husband to go see it with me.

That happens all the time to me too! Don't you hate that?
First, I'm an idiot. Wasn't thinking I was using my real name but it is set as the default.
Second, Barbara Hershey? I'm not that old.
I really enjoyed the movie but then again I knew what I was getting myself into. I really enjoy Darren Aronofsky's movies which have always gotten mixed reviews and reactions. I don't think a movie has to be universally acclaimed or liked for it to be great.
Specific to the black swan, that the movie was visually interesting and had a great score is no surprise considering the director. What did surprise is that it really did make ballet interesting. When she comes out to dance the black swan you really can feel the energy and seduction and everything else the artistic directory was trying to bring out. And it was so moody and suspenseful. It is probably the scariest movie to come out this year. I was alternately terrified and aroused.
If you want to see Mila Kunis go down on Natalie Portman, it is OK for about 30 seconds.
This movie is excellent.
Is the lesbo scene as good as the one with Salma Hayek in "Frida"?

Real name? Only on LRC can someone be worried about using their "real" anonymous name as opposed to one of their unregistered aliases.
Are you new here? I think everyone knows Moe.
I don't know Moe. Who is Moe?
Was f***ing shit
