Where the f*** does this happen?
Trying to ridicule ultras so the OP can make them seem as if they are less worthy of an endeavor than those the OP chooses.
And the answer to the question is yes.
Strategy is known as Gallo-napping.
Yeah, sure. What if it was a footrace across a continent. That seems like a perfectly legitimate competition, but obviously will take so long that you'll have to sleep and walk at times.
If it's good enough for the Tour de France, it's good enough for me.
Yes, racing is a relative and not absolute term. Relative to the event, a nap may be a necessary part of the event.
I could've ran the new york city marathon, and raced half, took a solid nap, and raced the otehr half and still beat jared from subway.

This is like asking if it's really "sex" if you don't pull out and spooge all over her face. Seriously?
Yes, I'm very serious.

No, you're not. Your thread post implies you don't think it is racing but have done nothing to support that idea. You are just trying to stir the pot by throwing something controversial out there and then stepping back and not participating in what comes next-which means you are acting like a douchebag.

You can seriously burn in hell.

Well, that seems a bit harsh, given the context.
You can bet I'll take a nap on my way there!
I know a guy (Mike Cudahy) did the Pennine Way 270 miles up and down mountains in under 3 days with a total of 3 hours rest
In his youth he could beat you over 100m as well
I managed to hike it in under 3 weeks - and half the team dropped out)
If you think its easy give it a try big shot
