What is everybody's favorite episode of Gilmore Girls?
"The Festival of Living Art" episode was on last week, and I think that is one of the best. Between the whole Judas thing and the rocker guy audition, it's great.

C'mon, you know you watch it - what are you favorite episodes?
The last one of the run. My wife thought that moronic show was the best darn thing ever and still catches it in syndication whenever she can.
ALL OF THEM!!!
As a guy, I never really got into the storyline and therefore don't have a favorite episode.
I have to say, the writing was pretty good, though -- the witticisms and cultural references were very widespread.
That said, I don't think I've seen an entire episode for lack of interest in what was (or wasn't) going on.
the abortion episode.
I was pretty shocked at the finale of season four. Losing her virginity to a married man. Frankly, I expected more out of Rory.
This is arguably the worst show ever written. All they do is talk. They tell all the action. There's no need for a set or costumes. They won't shut up. The #1 rule of good writing is to show, not tell. They fail.
The mother daughter shower scenes were nice.
The dialogue writing was not good throughout. I didn't see an episode where I didn't think an excited 19 year old undergrad was penning it all. The acting wasn't great either and the chick's boyfriend was just beyond annoying.
The one where Rory has group sex and then joins the Taliban.
That show was okay for a while, but it just totally jumped the shark when Rory went away to college,
#1 rule, huh? Tell Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) and David Mamet (Glengarry Glen Ross) that rule. The show's writing has been compared to that of both, but girlier, of course.
LIke I said, while the show's not that great overall, it has surprised me with some really snappy dialogue from the little I've seen of it.
From a quick internet search, here's one:
Lorelai: Were you supposed to meet me here?
Rory: Nope. I'm a surprise.
Lorelai: As was your conception.
Rory: I'll just be two minutes.
Lorelai: As was your conception.
