I see all the nutrition and "Kenyans don't eat at McDs" threads and think to myself what's the fun in being a runner if you live your life constantly worrying about food? I feel like it's okay to eat junk food in moderation. Will one cookie really make the difference in a 5k? Why not enjoy an oily burger and fries instead of consuming bread, rice, and oats like a beggar every night. Hell I ran 14Mi today and had some cake, big whoop.
What does LetsRun think? As runners should we continue to be as obsessive as we are about eating a potato chip or bowl of ice cream?
