I understand that most Kenyans do not have indoor plumbing and who can argue that they are also much better distance runners than Americans.
If I disconnect my indoor plumbing will this drop my 5K time?
I want to be as fast as the Kenyans.

SQUATS.
In the 1950's fewer people drove cars than drive cars today. In the 1950's more people died from heart attacks than doe today (the survival rate is higher).
Therefore, driving a car is good for your heart.
Lmao
It's not their lack of indoor plumbing....it's their skin color.

Kenyans are faster than Americans for several reasons:
1) MUCH higher infant mortality (54.8 per 1,000 live births in Kenya Vs. 6.8 per 1,000 live births in the US)
2) MUCH lower mean IQs (In the low 70s in Kenya Vs. high 90s in the US)
3) MUCH lower mean life expectancy (@54 in Kenya Vs. @78 in the US)
If American runners wish to be as fast as Kenyans, you have your work cut out for you.

You left out the vastly higher rates of HIV and child rape. These are the real reasons why Kenyans are so fast.
You guys are forgetting rites of circumcision. If you do it yourself with a Leatherman tool you can drop 1:12 off your 5K time.
