And that is 6 in a row against the Giants. Crazy game, go birds!!!!!

I wonder if DeSean Jackson will ever grow up and just run into the endzone with some class instead of doing some pre score celebration like he did at the end of the game. He looks like and idiot and it makes me not like the Eagles for allowing it.
DJax said he was trying to make sure there were zero seconds left on the clock when he scored. I haven't seen a simulcast of the clock and his run to know if it's bs or not, but if it's true, then you have to give it to him as doing what's best for the team.
Time ran out when Jackson was at the 25 yard line. As someone who lives in Philly, I personally cannot stand his antics. I don't know who I like less as a person--Vick or Jackson. At least Vick is seeming to learn from his mistakes. Jackson's jackassery is consistent every week.

You're right. I just reviewed my TiVo recording. Time ran out well before Jackson scored.
As an Eagles fan, though, especially as one who saw how much their offensive productivity suffered with the loss of TO a few years back, I hope the Eagles sign DJax to a long and lucrative contract.
Tonight's victory had to be the most dramatic victory I've ever witnessed.
Or as Merrill Reese said during the fourth quarter, "If some how some way the Eagles win this thing, I will tell you right now, this will be the most memorable Eagles game I will have ever broadcast."
God, what a night. Thank you DJax!!! Think it'll be a while before this one fades.
djax is a douche but it's easy for you, in the couch, to know that the clock had run down to 0. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't watching the clock after he picked up his drop and then was busy slicing and dicing the giants coverage.
I have to give the Green Birds the credit...that was an incredible comeback.
Great game and a great victory. But, Jackson is an ahole and Vick should still be in jail for his f***ing hideous crimes.
Jackson should have fell backwards into the endzone again.
What were they going to do, penalize them 15 yards on the kickoff in their next game?
The NFL is in the entertainment business and the Eagles are very entertaining.
I am not claiming that he is a douche because of his running along the goal line. I have no problem with him running out the clock (how he thought that was the priority over scoring though is beyond me). He is a douche for raising his hand with the ball unprotected on the 35 yard line before scoring. He is a douche for falling backwards into the end zone last week, costing his team a 15 yard penalty in a close game. He is a douche for purposely dropping the ball before he crossed the goal line his rookie year in the game against Dallas on Monday Night Football. He is a douche for trying to do a flying flip in the All-American game, only to fumble on the one yard line. Score the touchdown--then do your dance, go steal popcorn from the fans, do the Macarena, play hacky sack with the ball . . . I could care less--but cross the line first. This guy is no different from Leon Lett. He has no class and he has yet to learn from any of his mistakes.
You mean that you couldn't care less, right?
Actually no. I am American. Americans typically say "I could care less." Yes, the negative has been dropped. Yes, the literal meaning without the negative is seemingly nonsensical. However, other common expressions can be nonsensical or imply another meaning ("Tell me about it."--When people say this, they usually already know the information and thus do not need to be told). So yes, I am aware I used "I could care less." It is an expression; you do not need to read into so literally. Unless, of course, you are British and you are upset about how Americans have bastardized your version "I couldn't care less." I also used the word "jackassery" earlier in this thread. I cannot find any logical explanation for this word, but it seemed to make sense in the context I used it.
It wasn't on purpose

There were 14 seconds left and it was a line drive kick that he received around the 35 yard line. He covered the 65 yards in around 9 seconds. I doubt he calculated the hangtime of the kick plus the time he took to gather the ball. Yes, time ran out at the 25 yard line but that last 25 yards would be covered in around 3 seconds. It's not like he was kicking down a home stretch and had a digital clock beside the endzone.
White folk cant stand to see the Eagles succeed because they dont have a white superstar to market. Vick and Jackson are black and are considered "hood" and "thugs" and are therefore to be hated. The Birds do not a Manning or Brady. Sorry folks, stop crying and live your life.
Vick is considered a thug because he is a thug.
At least Djax is no TO.
wait there are black people in the NFL? when did that happen???
How about some love for Jeremy Maclin? Guy doesn't get the credit he deserves, but he got some incredible separation when his team needed it most and came up with another couple big catches.
Less outspoken than DJax but just as explosive a player.
He did drop the ball on purpose. He assumed he had crossed the line and then dropped then ball . . . on purpose. The problem is that he did not cross the line. Just like the fumble in the All-American game. He assumed he would flip into the endzone--he didn't make it and fumbled.
