I need to have surgery, but it won't be for over a month. Is there any physical benefit to pushing my mileage as much as possible before I have a forced layoff from running for 10-12 weeks? Will it help my return to fitness later?
Mentally, I'm ready to run 24/7 since I know I'm going to go crazy when I can't run. But I want to do whatever I can to be able to help my return to running later.
