Nice video!...thanks a lot!
I did not recall that Artemio Navarro from Mexico (back then one of the best world master) tried to run along with the lead pack... there was a time when Navarro raced frequently here in Mexico, every weekend, making a good amount of cash ($), but he over raced. I remember one week in 1990 he ran and won a marathon in 2:17:xx, and the next week he ran another one and won in 2:18:xx. many people here in Mexico stated that he was not clean... I saw him two weeks ago running the half marathon in Mazatlan... he looks pretty weak.
On the other hand, Alejandro Cruz retired from running and the last time I saw him was like six years ago... he was living in Zacatecas,Mex. and working as a police officer. he was kind of heavy and fat... somebody told me that he used to run in a local park at a good pace, and suddenly a runner from that place tried to keep up the rhythm with him and he could not do it... and he said afterwards "...man, that fat guy runs very fast... who is that guy anyway?... it was funny...
Thanks Mcgato
