I was watching the VO2 max test that Robert Chapman did on Flotrack with Brian Olinger and Ryan(from Flotrack). Chapman did the test at a constant pace and raise the incline every 2min with the test ending at 10% incline(went 0,4,6,8,10). The test was 10min in duration. Olinger was running 6min/mile pace and Ryan was running 6:10 pace.
My question is how does one know what pace to run while doing the VO2 max test?
