you'd think so but anyone know from experience?

I'd think so if they specialize in poultry.
Yes, veterinarians get lots of women. I'm not sure why, but something about not eating meat is sexy & intriguing.

Please tell us this is your meager attempt at a little humor?
Oh Lord, do you even have to ask?

Yes, I was joking. Sorry if it was lame, and not obvious. We all know that veterinarians are wusses and wierdos, and that real men are carnivores.
so you still think a veterinarian doesn't eat meat?
Kathy Ireland married a veterinarian.

I would think that there would be a bundle of women who would go for a man who served our country in wartime.

In fact it's quite the opposite since they are all gay.

go check your totem
i would guess they get mostly dogs and cats, maybe some hamsters and rabbits once in a while
Okay, um, most veterinarians ARE chicks. This is especially true for small animal vets, which is the segment of the profession that you are probably thinking of. Most of the men in the profession work in the "food animal" (i.e. slaughterhouse) side of the profession, and I doubt that is good for picking up chicks.

Best response.
How often does someone take a baby chicken to a vet?
I am a veterinarian and believe the following.
Veterinarians have an increased chance of "getting chicks" because:
1) Vet colleges are about 2/3rd female. Guys have lots of girls to choose from and girls have few guys to choose from.
2) Since vet colleges are 2/3rd female, the profession is filled with many more young women than young men. Thus, meeting through work and conferences, men are again at an advantage.
3) Women generally have a soft spot in their hearts for animals. Male vets can easily throw their profession into a variety of conversations if they choose to.
4) Male veterinarians tend to have pets, probably moreso than other young single males. One way to meet a girl and start a conversation is through walking a dog.
I would say about 1/3 of my vet college class was vegetarian, and this was mixed between guys and girls. There were plenty of guys who were non-vegetarian. Most of the guys were straight, as were most of the girls.
The veterinary profession has wusses just like any other profession, but no more than any other profession. In my class there were football players, ex-military guys, and even big guys who grew up on farms who were going into small animal medicine, so there are plenty of real men in the field that women would find attractive.
