Alright, it's time for me to boldly enter the smart phone market. I currently have Verizon, but am willing to change carriers . What's the best one out there - Droid X, Droid 2, HTC Evo?
Thanks in advance.

My droid incredible has been nothing short of it's name. I have had it for a few months now. I got it for $150 with my upgrade. $30 per month for internet.
Thanks for the input. So the touchscreen keyboard on the Incredible is solid?
I have the X. Its pretty awesome. Some times I wish I had a standard keyboard on it for emails, texts or whatever but the swipe function is pretty cool and I am used to it by now. The swipe is probably on every phone though.
Camera is awesome, the video is amazing. Its a really cool piece of technology.
The Droid 2 is the best phone and it has a key board if you need it.
So what about the actual phone quality of these phones?
I'm on Sprint and due for a new phone. What about HTC Evo vs. Samsung Epic?
iPhone 4. It still is the gold standard, in my opinion. I've had mine since September and have loved every minute of it. The retina display alone is reason enough. Amazing.
Ummm ... iPhone?
If you're a real techie, by all means for some Googly phone. But if you want the best user experience and a world of apps without worrying about how your processor speed matches up to someone else's - just get the iPhone.
Droid is nice since it's Java and you can run 1,000,000 FREE apps [including in my language]. Java has been on mobile phones since NTT Docomo mid-90ish.
Another vote for the iPhone.
Anyone thinking about getting the new Samsung S that came out today? It's a pure android phone from Google.
depends where you live.
An iphone is useless for phone calls in San Francisco because of coverage issues.
Droid X is awesome and solid.
Another question- if I'm thinking about getting a phone from a running perspective, which OS has better running apps - iPhone or Android?
Anyone have an opinion?
Bump
Whatever you do, think twice before leaving Verizon. In the least, do not even think of going to AT&T. Worst network ever.
If you must have an iPhone Verizon is getting one early next year.
Android is Java, the world's mobile standard.
any java mobile os offshoot is best like droid since it's been around the cell phone world 20 years already
EVO, hands down!
Anything I could steal and swap out the card. I am a cheap son of a blizzard lover.
