My New Years Resolution last year was to drink nothing but water for a whole year. That means no powerade/gatorade. Well long story short, I got injured a few times this year. (Strained quad, hamstring cramps, strained hamstring). My trainer thinks its due to me not having enough electrolytes. He gave me some Medi-Lyte tablets to take today. I have yet to take them.

Well anyways, on the packet it says "Used to minimize fatigue, and prevent muscle cramps and heat prostration due to excessive perspiration."
"minimize fatigue" .. to me it sounds like taking this would be cheating.
This could all be solved if I just started drinking Powerade again, but I don't want it to come to that.
