So an acquaintence of ours was brutally murdered by her husband in front of their kids, and then the d-bag jumps in his car and kills himself by driving into a tree. Three days later his obit appears in the paper and it's nothing but a glowing review of what a great guy he was, including the words "He dearly loved his family..." (Really??)
Why do obits always sugar-coat everything? Aside from being a cowardly murderer, the guy was a tremendous A-hole for as long as anyone knew him.
Furthermore, the majority of our friends who knew this couple are all offering up the obligatory prayers and so forth. What the hell are they praying for? Seems like any god that gave a rat's arse might have protected the defenseless victim. If "God" couldn't do that, does "He" really care about what's going to happen to the orphaned children?
