He should NOT be playing in the NFL. If I were the commissioner, I would be disgusted with myself. He is talented, for sure, but he is not deserving of the privilege of playing in the NFL. I still can't believe he didn't have a longer sentence. But, as we all know, star athletes are coddled.
why shouldn't he be plkaying in the nfl. ted kennedy killed a woman and he ran for president...
But Ted Kennedy was a white Irish Catholic, thats different than being Black.
Thank you. Ted didn't win, either.
Ted also didnt serve any time for his drunken murder even though everyone knew he did it.

Well, this is America. We don't jail rich white people for those kind of crimes. People would start to talk....
I don't know that it's fair to compare Vick to Kennedy. They are VERY different.
amen
you are a freaking idiot.

I always get those two confused.

One of them was born with a silver spoon and one was born with an extremem athletic gift.
Dont get me wrong. What he did was sick and should have been punished. Vick will have that over his head the rest of his life.
Kennedy was above the law and just as sick of a man. He got away with murder just because of his last name.....and the people still oved him also.
Let's do an apples-to-apples comparison: Donte Stallworth killed a man and is playing for the Ravens. Fortunately for him he killed a man and not a dog and so received a lighter sentence than Vick.
Does that sound right? And I don't hear anyone complaining about Stallworth playing in the NFL.
Yes, Vick will have this over his head for the rest of his life. However, I don't think he should be in the NFL. He killed DOGS, for C***st's sake.
Stallworth once accidently hit a man who was hurrying across a street to catch a bus. Stallworth had been drinking which may or may not have contributed to the accident.
Vick intentionally abused and killed dogs for years.
Now if they were people, Vick would still be in jail waiting for his execution.
But they were just dogs.
Some people eat dogs.
What if they were chickens?

Vick didn't do shit, he was the financer and a spectator, nothing more. People talking about him killing dogs are so misinformed it is laughable. Vick had his boys kill the dogs.
Vick admitted to stomping dogs to death because they didnt want to fight.
You are so in denial it is laughable. I own a pitbull and it makes me want to put on a pair of steel toed Docs and do the same thing to Vick.

So let me see if I've got this right. Driving drunk (blood alcohol content was 0.12) in the middle of the night and killing a pedestrian is a lesser offense than deliberately killing a dog?
You peta folks got a f0cked up sense of worth.
Unintentionally killing one jaywalker while drunk is a lessor offense that delibertly killing hundreds of dogs over many years.
Now the peta people that want a life sentence for Vick are a bit crazy. 2 years is plenty.
Maybe you have only driven sober your entire life but I may have taken the wheel with a .12 once or twice without getting caught.
It would be tough luck if someone suddenly walked in front of me and I killed them.
That can easily happen when you are sober.
Many if not most pedestrian deaths are the pedestrian's fault.
I know how to cross the street and look for cars.
I guess I'm screwed up enough to believe that the life a person is worth more than than a thousand dogs.
Loading yourself up with booze and climbing behind the wheel of a car for a late night drive and killing a pedestrian is about as unintentional as shooting a gun without aiming and just being unlucky enough to hit someone. Stallworth deliberately created a deadly situation that turned out to be deadly.
