Where did you see him? What track/park?

The comment was pertaining to the poster who wanted to know what track/park he was running at and it sounded as if they were going to stalk said place hoping to see him.

No s**t Alan would know what track it was at and what repeats he was running there on "13-DEC-10. der.

Not an expert compared to the infinite wisdom that is so apparent on the message boards like people not unlike yourself. I mean I know I don't have a 13:45 5k pr like yourself but it isn't hard to see the hitch in his gait. Are you sure he wasn't just doing his easy afternoon run? I think he had his workout today. There and another SW track is his usual place because Portland doesn't have enough soft flat spots to run except at Nike's soccer field. Peace

If you are on this board, then you're serious about running. If you're serious about running, then you know you don't want people messing with your sweats, keys, water, etc. when you are running at a track. So do the same for anyone else.

If you see Alan or another "serious" runner, wave and say "Hi" and try to make eye contact and get a response. Follow up with a question like "what type of a workout are you doing today" or "what are you training for" and see if you can start a conversation off that. Ask if he ever reads LetsRun.com.
