No offense, but someone needs to take a class on surveys. After about 45 minutes, the quality of participant feedback diminishes after too many questions.

Im sure he is gonna see a lot of one sided answers on that last page.

Took it! It wasn't bad. To the guy who said it took 45 minutes, WTF?!?!?!? It wasn't that long of a survey. And to the guy who said they couldn't estimate what they've done in the last two weeks... Easy fix. Know what you typically do in a week. Multiply by 2.

I have no idea how long this survey should take but a well designed lengthy survey often has a question rotation component to lessen the impact of survey fatigue. That may be the case here.

I don't know if the survey administer is reading this thread, but a real problem of this survey is the fact that it's got serious bias built in because of the way people are opting in to the survey from a message board thread. In general, for the results to be generalizable to all letsrun readers, it needs to be a sample of lets run readers. This is obviously very difficult (if not impossible) to do because letsrun does not require registration (and only polling registered users is a form of selection bias as well). I would suggest making the link to the survey its own thread "sticky" at the top of the forums so that you know everyone sees it in the same place. Again though you need to be very careful analyzing the results of this survey because naturally people who visit the message board more frequently are going to be more likely to see it, more likely to take it etc.

Look at the time questions as if they are a billable hours breakdown Then it is easy visualize the breakdown. You are not expected to remember the exact times just use the Kentucky Windage App in your head.

This survey has not been validated and hence all of the results stemming from it are completely meaningless and biased.

Something tells me the graduate student using this survey is going to have fail his/her defense.

I'll pay 50 to not do the survey.

Maybe this thread IS the basis for the thesis!

Title of the thesis would be:

"A Psychological Analysis of Anonymous Message Board Reactions to Low Value Raffle Award for Filling in Lengthy Questionnaire."
