Anyone have the results from yesterday's Christmas Relays in San Francisco? I was out of town so didn't get to run.

Anyone?
It was fun.
The open mens race was a really wild one but some of the best runners in the PA were in Charlotte. It was a three team race.
The Strawberry Canyon Track Club (I think they're pretty new) and River City Rebels and ASICs Aggies went back and forth and the Rebels finally pulled it out over Strawberry Canyon with Kevin Pool by about five seconds. The Strawberry guy who ran the first leg might have broken 22:00 minutes which is really fast on this course, Chris Gerber? I've never heard of any of those guys but they are getting pretty damn good.
The ASICs Aggies were only 2 seconds behind for third and it looked like they only ran three guys. Chico Track Club was 4th. West Valley TC might have been 5th, Transports was 6th without their top guys. The Olympic Club had a collection of runners which included Shannon Rowbury and Crosby Freeman and might have been 6th or seventh.
Lady Aggies won it over Tamalpa, the Impalas and other clubs.
Masters men Aggies, Tamalpa, Strawberries.
Masters' women Tamalpa, Impalas or the other way around.
Not quite as wild as previous years. It conflicts with club cross country nationals now.
If my memory serves me correct, Chico TC handed off in 3rd after 2 legs, and finished about 6 seconds back from 3rd at the finish.
One of my favorite races. Nothing better than a 4x4.5 mile relay on a pretty flat and fast loop.
It WAS an excellent four-team race with 25 seconds separating first from fourth, the tightest race I remember. I was glad to be taking time off from the CIM marathon and helping my club out. It was very exciting race to watch the drama up front.
