He's the short of it:
I want to break 5 in the mile before the end of the year.
I have done it every year for 10 years and want to keep the streak up.
About a year ago I got hurt but had recently run about 15 for 5k on the road.
I have run about 30 miles in the last 2 months, prior to that I was doing about 10 miles a week in the 2 months prior.
I think i'm now injury free.
Today I ran 3 x 400 in 1:12 with 60 seconds rest. It was hard.
Will I be able to break 5 by the end of the year?
How should I train for this?
