Who was the guy sprinting downhill past Luxas and Futsum today at Footlocker? Was he able to hang on?

I noticed that too. I'm sure he died pretty bad.
It was Zach Wills from Ohio. I think he held on for top 15.

He was almost dead last.
Yep. Hope Zach gets healthy and back to his shape from 2009. He's a killer runner, but he just hasn't seemed to snap back to form since he was sick last spring.
I thought that kid was ridiculous when I saw him sprinting downhill for no reason. Now, after seeing that website, I can't stand him.
He may be fast but...
This kid is a f***ing tard...
What a classic Ohio runner.
In his website, he lists as intended major on college: business and/or christian ministry. Seems to be right on track as a future televangelist with that website dedicated to himself. Not exactly a humble Christian.

Well when Josh Cox is the most famous runner/christian combo, what do you expect? Ryan Hall a close second, mainly because it is impossible to out promote Josh.
Don't model yourself after him Zac.
It's hard to see him making an impact for Ok. St. other than rabbiting in practice

Funniest thing I saw all race. Did he think the rest of the race was downhill?
What a tool move to have a pesonal website. He has a FAQ section...wtf?
Kid, you might be nice, you might not be a tool, but if you are reading this, take down the f'in website. You make Acosta look like Sinatra.

Hard to tell but he did run 8:18 and 8:24 for 3000 meters as a sophomore.
Ya but he also hasn't improved his 3200 time since Soph. year and his 5k PR is not much faster than what it was at the beginning of Jr. year. I recall when he used to go to big 'Twilight' out of state meets, now he just competes in OH and sticks to beating 9:30 types. He's had that website since his Fr. year (at least that's the first time I saw it) and I think it was mostly used as a recruiting tool. He also used to have a "Soles for Souls" charity (ie old shoes for poor kids in Kenya) but I think that died out as well.
Anyway more power to him if he can get back in the saddle and improve, but I think it'll be tough for the kid.
have you guys met Zach? Him and Mike B are one of the more nicer runners to come out of Ohio in the past couple of years. I can name runners that came out of ohio in 08' 09' 10' that were absolute jerks. That website is more of a recruiting tool I think his parents put together and I hope him and mike do well. I expect zach to have a bigger improvement from Dave Smith as opposed to Ohio State and Michael Bradjic

Some people are mean; therefore Wills is nice and you guys should leave him alone!

typical. Lets all get on here and spread our jealousy. Dang-it I'm not as good as Wills---he is such a mean person. lol

Sad thing is he could have been top 5 if he didn't make such a bonehead move. Was that his race plan going in? I'm sure his coaches would not recommend such a move.
