Is this the future of the sport in the US?

Considering that America is the land of immigrants....I'd say a lot.
It's sad, did you hear that runner-up jabbering away in broken English?
third place guy, is he a transplant to? Didn't sound (American) English?
#1 Lithuania
#2 Eritrea
#3 ?
He gave a lengthy explanation of what was going through his head, and all of it was very understandable...except maybe for a slow person like yourself. Maybe if he had spoken in one of hte African languages he speaks yo umight have understood better? Or maybe he could have used a powerpoint or some crayolas to try and dumb things down enough for idiots like yourself.
You're as stupid as your fuzzy foreign lover, comrade. Trot your commie ass back on over to Siberia clown.

What are you, Native American??
I'm 1/2 native american and I say who the F*** cares? They're students in a U.S. HS, big deal. Unless you live in Kansas or something, you are always going to be competing against 'the real world.' Better that our top runners get the exposure now rather than down the line.
Feel bad because American's can't win anything in international competition and now they can't even win their national high school meets, huh? I feel your pain...but you're still an ass. The sooner you face up to the inferiority of the american distance runner, the better off you'll be. And remember, there's always golf, poker, ice-fishing and Nascar for you to follow.
1st: Lithuanian Triathlete
2nd: Eritrian
3rd: American Triathlete
4th: Ethiopian
5th: American
6th: Native American
So depending on how you classify things, the first "American" was either 1st, 3rd, or 6th!
Takes one to know one.
