Where is it this year?
Where is it this year?
BUMP
How many people are planning on bringing rubber suits so the tazers won't work?
You guys are such losers. A bunch of old men pretending to be attractive and young. Watch out Charlotte!
Keep living the dream guys.
*I hope I am not like you when I am old.

So I'll give you the old part, but the bulk of us left the trying to look attractive stuff to the youngsters long ago. Too much work.
Your punk ass probably won't be employed like them either. You keep living the dream buddy. They've already achieved theirs and continue to run for fun.
I'm a freshman in college and already plan on running club nats after I get out of school.
You sound like a bitter woman who never gets "hit on" by this "bunch of old men pretending to be attractive and young" or anyone else for that matter.
Let them enjoy their competition and the post race party to talk and lie about the race.
Been there done that. wrote:

Hahahahaha. Listen, I have nothing negative to say about racing Club Nats, I've been there myself... but to imply that the race is made up of a bunch of men who have "achieved their dreams" is hilarious.
If anything, it is a group of single, balding, middle-management types who can't seem to grasp that they aren't going to be pro runners one day.

Nailed It!
What a bunch of sarcastic trolls. Such an easy question deserves an easy answer.
The awards ceremony and party is at Whiskey River at the epicenter in uptown Charlotte. Great area with restaurants and bars. The after awards ceremony party will be in the same entertaintment district (epicenter) at lucky strike. See you there.

Maybe that is where you are going, but the women are going to Ri-Ra.
BTW, Charlotte is such a depressing city. It tries so hard and comes off looking like a cheap whore. An embarrassment to North Carolina.
I've achieved mine. Well, on my way. I know I'll never be a great runner. I'm content in grad school, getting my PhD. I have a girlfriend who is amazing. And I love to run and compete at the level that I can.
I would say that you just sound bitter, that you must have had personal issues that did not allow you to be happy being a runner, and being something else, as any capable individual could easily do.
I feel bad for you.

I don't think you are the age demographic he is referring to, but we are all glad that you are happy with yourself, asshole.
Jealous much?
I would stay out of the epicenter- it is douche bag central there.
RiRa, Gin Mill, Breakfast Club, Buckheads are all good places...

Jealous of what?
So according to you, if one is not going to become a pro runner, then one should stop running and not compete at any level?
I have never been to Club Nationals and I will probably never will, but I don't think it's my business to criticize or put down those individuals who choose to do so. I think it's great if that keeps them motivated to keep training.

By no means is that what I am saying. I race all of the time. I even race Club Nats sometimes, just not this year.
My point is that Club Nats isn't like most National Championships. These are not elite athletes, but many THINK they are elite athletes.
I just think it is an amusing scene, that's all.
I am probably just as bad as most involved. In my thirties, skinny from running ridiculous mileage, etc.
