What I am looking for:
Soft/squishy yet bouncy, unstable, minimal upper, and level/flat, though not thin, lightweight shoes. (Think: Nike Air Mariah from 1981 and you are just about there.)
I am unable to try on everything, and am tired of buying shoes that do not work (you might say Brooks Green Silence, I would say the way they contoured the footbed provided too much control).
Any ideas?

Does anyone have anything nice to say about the Air Mariah "fashion" shoe of two or three years ago? I'm not sure how flat it is, but I'm guessing it might be fairly similar, or good for to throw into a rotation?
The Lunar Mariah? I have them. It's the Lunaracer platform on a Mariah upper. This sounds like a good idea, except that the seams on the toebox overlays are horrible. I ran one 5-mile race in them and was bleeding through the uppers.

Does anyone have any actual report on this shoe? From the Puma website, I cannot make out whether this is meant as a serious racing shoe, or a lightweight walk-around.
