I raced all fall.11- 13 cc races 8ks every week.I have had 3 weeks with no races will i lose a beat.I felt like i was getting faster with every race.Will the 3 weeks be good or bad.Is 3 weeks to long?Note all my races have been 8k and my next is 5k.

all my races have been cc races and my last was nov 13.I ran a season best on a hard cc course.My next race is a road 5k .I want to run good at this race.Do i need to run somthing this weekend or can i still ride the wave from the last? It feels kinda strange not running a race the past weekend.Is there a point where you cant just run a 5 mile race every weekend?
I am also scared of over tranning the past 2 weeks.Since i dont have the 2 easy days before a race.My miles are going to be more.
