Jeez, that field is huge. What are the qualifying standards?
What was funnier? That a kid fell on his face or that a huge portion of the "championship" field finished 8k in 26+min?
weird, i ran against that kid in high school. he runs for college of idaho now, ran for the catholic school back in the day. world is small i suppose
the course was mud city 2010. The top guys have run under 24 in the 8k before, just had bad conditions.

hahaha they have not! Show us where and when???????
The guy who won has run 13:5? and just under 29 flat. NAIA sucks as a whole but the top few Africans...well, at least the top african is an absolute freak.

I agree, Only one fast guy. JUST ONE
Big deal, someone fell at the finish line of a race. Gee, that never happened before. Lots of guys finishing at the same time, gee, that never happened before either.

The guy who finished 10th has run 3:57y indoors. If you do the math correctly, that's 9 guys who beat him. Have to be pretty fast to beat a 3:57 miler.

The guy who finished 43rd at NCAA D1 Nationals has run 3:59. If you do the math correctly, that's 42 guys who beat him.
Don't compare apples to pinecones.
What is NAIA?
The guys who couldn't make a college team?
So many of those guys look like huge Nancies.
I also saw a shitload of arm warmers.
Sickening.
I did see some pretty awesome beards though.
I was impressed with the three guys in the top 15 for "M" (The Masters), but I checked the results to find their #4 was 138th. GaaaaAAACK!!!!
The guy who finished 46th at D1 finished 2nd at NAIA last year.
