The sexism here is unreal. This is a tension filled, difficult race. And it is enjoyable to watch. Kudos to the fine runners - I don't understand the negativity.

can i get confirmation on that awkward Rawson quote? was it, "thanks for everything you've done for.....America"
live results page?
Anyone have the top 20 results?
Wouldn't it be nice to have some enthusiasm from the commentators? I mean I know it's a 6k race but I didn't even realize they were about to finish until like 30 seconds to go. No change in tone whatsoever. So boring.

Haha, you're hilarious. Enough with the joking. Boring. Let the real race begin.
I don't think it's sexism to point out a reality- at nearly every CC race, there are far more women collapsing in the chute than men. I'm sure there may have been exceptions here and there, but I've seen enough races of all levels to expect it. Indeed, most meet directors plan for it- I've worked some meets as a favor to coaching friends, and the issue of how to keep the women's chute functioning is always discussed. As to why the gender difference, no idea, but it's real.
Came down to the milers as I predicted...only LVD was out of the top four that I called in correct order.
Things look tough for our Mr. Chelanga. DArk Horse Jake Riley will do unexpectly well...stocky frame that punches through the wind.
"What happend to Schaaf"?---
Gee, what do you think happend to Schaaf? Do you think very skinny runners perform well under pressure, or do you think they leak oil when they are under pressure? Why is it a surprise to some of you when the Cheese burger athletes run poorly under pressure?
I will win.
Larry Rawson, please retire!
This meet should not be put on live if they are going to do painful post-race stuff like that. I mean to put Gina though this when she doesn't know the results is ridiculous.
They need to know who won right away or at least tell us.

I blame that echo. When you hear what you're saying repeated right after you say it, it really messes with your mind.

the women are collapsing because their ovaries are falling out. This race is much too long for a woman to handle.
