Hey everyone, I'm an ex-distance guy gone 400, and I was just wondering what kind of training people have done to train specifically for the 400 and what kinds of times they ran while doing so. Coming from a distance background, the periodization seems to be quite a bit different as there is only really fast running for a few months, whereas for distance runners you're basically running workouts aug-november, take december easy, jan - jun, and then take a summer of just base.
