Hey out there,
Looking for training info. I was a fairly competitive college runner( low 25s for 8k, 1:11 PR for half marathon, 3:57 1500, 15:03 5k.)I moved to the North Slope of Alaska for three years and in the process gained some weight. I am now 20 pounds over my college race weight. I would like to be competitive again, understand that it may take time but have no idea where to start with training. I knew what I had to do before to get into shape, I have an idea now but wondering if anyone has done this before, I know there has to be someone out there, and how their process went.
