Female entries?
Women's 10 mile champs are in MN on Oct. 3
Thanks for the entry info - my money is on AVega.
I could use a little help on phonetic pronunciation of Bizuneh & Yuot. Offhand, I'd go w/Biz-oon-ah & Yowt. Close? I'll have occasion to call their names as they finish and/or enroute.
Bizuneh wins U.S. championsip in Crim 10 miler.
The LIVE webcast replay is processing now and should be up soon. http://www.runnerspace.com/USA-Mens-10mile Fasil had a great race!
According to the photos...
Bizuneh - 47:28
Vega - 47:42
Young (i think) - 47:48
Cabada - 48:29
Sheehan - 48:37

Runnerspace.com is the WORST WEBSITE EVER!!!!!! USATF please go back to the old site. PLEASE, the suck!!!!!!!
The coverage was terrible. Why list it as a live webcast of the US Championships if you are going to show the lead 2 Kenyans the whole race with speculation of what is going on behind. If you can't show the whole American race at least give us some details as to who is currently in the top 10 through out the race. You provided few details and one or two zoomed in shakey shots of Vega, Fasil, and Young but other than that nothing about the Americans. If you called the webcast Live Crim 10 mile coverage then I would understand, sit back and watch our foreign friends duke it out. It is pathetic that a website created so poorly would be the one used by USATF to cover these meets. The questions during the interviews were awful and made it just plain awkward to watch.
If runnerspace can't provide the same coverage as Flotrack then step down because you are hurting the sport and doing nothing but frustrating the most loyal US Distance fans.
Any deeper results yet?
woke up at 5am for nothing wrote
You were in the middle of the Pacific while watching the race?
Haha or just on the West coast. See Flint Michigan is in the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore living on the West coast puts me 3 hours behind the Eastern time zone. A 8am race start in Flint is 5am on the west coast. Hope that clarifies.

Good run for Fasil. long time coming, bro.
I have found a nice piece on the race in the local newspaper. Bill Khan of the Flint Journal wrote a great recap of the race.http://blog.mlive.com/flintjournal/runners/2010/08/kenyans_upstage_americans_by_g.htmlI wish others could produce such fine running journalism - I'm serious. It tells you interesting tidbits about the Kenyan winner and makes him sound like a real person. It also puts the performances in perspective so that everyone can understand what it all means. It also includes a great quote from Bizuneh:
Bill Khan
"“It shows people that I’m back on the scene. I’m going out to Chicago trying to run 2:09. There’s only been four Americans under 2:10 the past 10 years, so that’s a big goal. This is an intermediate step toward that in six weeks.”
Do you have to be a current USATF member to be listed in the USATF results section? There were a couple Americans in overall top 25 results who are not listed in the USATF results? Would this be the reason?

You have to sign up for the USATF championship race, perhaps?
