Greetings from a rainy beautiful cloudy Outer Banks! We need a week of this weather. I should have moved to Oregon as I love rain and clouds.
Had a great week of running, five days, all good runs and I am picking up the pace. Missed one day after working very late. Trying to pull the reins back a bit and proceed with caution after being away but the body seems to be able to remember what it was trained to do. No pains lots of gains. I think I am ready to add a day for a long run but at some point I need to add a track workout to my training program. What I should do is write down some running goals and maybe share it with a coach or a mentor and get advice on the best way to go about it and set up a plan. After being down so long I am grateful to even be thinking of track work. There was a point where I never thought I'd be running like this again.
