5x1000s with 400m jog in between (2:30 - 3:00 jog)
3:17
3:16
3:17
3:11
2:57
If this doesn't help to predict a 5k time but helps with a 3k or another distance, can someone give me that time too?

what is your 5k PR? and when did you run it?
17:28 which i ran in early june.
before & since the 5k, all i've been doing are slow runs, no tempos, fartleks, workouts, anything.
this workout was my first since outdoor season. any indication of 5k time?
I for one would not predict your 5K time on just these 1000's It would be nice if you had a 1200 time in there too or even a 1600 time. Can you run a 60 second 400? Is it a hard pace or could you push through an 800 in two minutes? What would happen in that last 200m if you hit the 800 in two minutes? Would you perish?
YOU can easily predict your own time by giving yourself that test.
16:49. just run baby.
I ran 5x1k with 2 minutes rest in 3:15-3:20 without going to well prior to running 17:10. I would have been able to do that workout, but the last rep would have been very very difficult. So, I'd say you should be able to go 17:00-17:10, based on my experience.
vdot and Jack Daniels. look the table up. I don't know if it's online. he extrapolates paces and race times. accurate enough for this thread.
Do it with 90 rec then you will have predictor, better still 4 x 1600 90 rec
i ran 16:35 and im not sure i could do that workout
actually well i would prob just feel like shit on the last one or two reps
