ABOUT LINK EDUCATION
LinkEducation is a nonprofit organization that exists to make information available so that communities - parents, educators, students, school leaders, policy makers, education organization employees - can find education-related resources, make more informed decisions and demand the absolute best education possible for their children.
The LinkEducation website
addresses a core problem for educators and parents in a big city: that children from a variety of urban communities theoretically have access to a plethora of free or low-cost education resources that, if fully utilized, could significantly impact test scores and high school drop-out rates in underserved areas, as well as the ability of all children to explore enrichment activities (for example in art or music) that could make all the difference for their futures. But too often, children go without needed programs (particularly in lower-income areas) either because the organizations that run them lack visibility, the programs are hard to find, or simply because in the past there was no single place to proactively seek out new education solutions that would fulfill a particular child’s needs.
LinkEducation currently operates only in New York City with plans to expand into cities across the United States. For more information, please visit
