BroJos- I'm calling you out. You played as big a part of this as AlSal, Webb or Teg. You posted the 13:06 feaux results, you posted the videos, YOU KNEW IT WAS A SCAM. I want an explination of what happened. I for one, am not 100% convinced that it was a huge joke. I think both of them may have been planning on running, but for whatever reason dropped out at the last minute. I know someone out there knows the dirt on this whole scam. Please, for the love of the sport, tell us the REAL story of whats going on. I will not stop bumping until this gets resolved.
I just got a call from Employee #1 and this is the first I've heard of it.
I guess we had a link or video on this possible race a while ago. We had nothing up about it in the last couple of days.
Then yesterday the day of the so called event, someone posted fake results, saying Webb ran 13:06. Everyone on the boards clicked on it and if a thread gets viewed by a bunch of people it gets featured automatically o n the homepage. So then you thought we were saying it was legit. It wasn't.
We need to do a better job of making sure fake threads get removed quicker but this one fell through the cracks. My apologies.
As for the event, I never saw the fake video but if Nike is going to try and do guerrilla marketing and promote something then if the event doesn't happen it would be wise to say why not. Otherwise there are some people really upset.
So my apologies for our contribution in this mixup. We definitely were not in on it.
