I started running track last year before sitting on the couch all day the two years before. My pb's are 11.30 100m(2009), 2:04 800m (2009), 15:47 5000m time trial a week after state meet (previous 5k best was 18:17 OCT 2009 XC) which felt like a life or death run. I want to focus on the 800m but I don't know if I should be a 400m/800m guy or 800m/1500m guy. I also want to know if its safe for me to do 60mpw and go up to 90mpw in DEC to peak for XC nationals (plan on going sub 15)?
