Apologies to the loyal readers, my domestique has been beat up by the last few runs and excused himself from updating. Thus I have taken it upon myself to update during this crucial time, the homestretch.
I am currently 88 in with about a day and a half to go. I could go for 110/110 but I feel this is enough. I will be glad to be done as "sober" will be a novel feeling for a few days. I am also curious to see how I recover from this experience in the following week.
Yesterday I ate some breakfast (don't remember what as my memory has been ruined) and for lunch went to taco bell with some friends. Ate 4 chalupas (supreme, beef) and 3 soft tacos. I was still really hungry and regretted not doing the grande meal (for the 2nd time) and instead ate my friend's cinna-twists that he didn't want. Ran 10 miles on the trails 4 hours later, felt terrible for the first few but decent by the end. Ate a family sized box of kraft mac and cheese for dinner. That was rough.
While it was relatively easy, there is no way I could've done this and maintained a real job/life/do it during finals week like Ziggy Stardust. I am sleeping so much and am at least a little drunk all the time. This will probably be the last real update as the finish is a foregone conclusion so again I am glad some people on my team got some enjoyment out of it and to the haters, I really don't think my season is in jeopardy because of this week.
