Rupp runs very few poor races. The video of last years 3k looked like it was a bit windy out. So he may not get the ideal conditions that Lagat and Solinsky got to go sub 13 a few weeks back. That said he ran 13:14 indoors and was coming off a virus of some sort so I'm going to say that balances the wind he may face this weekend and say he runs a solid PR but misses sub 13, say 13:04 to 13;08. Which is really a GREAT effort. Lets not forget he is a few years younger then the solinsky, teg, ritz group and that he doesn't have the greatest speed. I think he is just shy of sub 13' at the moment, perhaps as someone else said later this year but certainly he'll be in sub 13' sub 27' shape next year, though he may not get the chance to run those times as it will be a championship year.
