let's try this one again.........bump
I don't know if they are similar but I don't like the Nike Shox FSM
We'll have them in the store sometime in the next couple weeks. They sound really good, like Nike actually made them for running unlike some of their other shox. I'll post again once I have them on my feet and have taken them for a mile on the treadmill.
sounds good, i'm really curious to see how they are in comparison..
Which Triax do you have? Triax is a series, not a specific shoe. (Max Triax, Structure Triax, Span Triax, etc.)
Structure Triax
FSM-foot strike management. Jury is still out on them but they're esentially Structures w/pillars (shox) of cushioning designed w/medial foot support. They're a bit pricier than Structures also.
gotchya...
my main problem lies in my right foot, my ankle rolls in a tiny bit upon impact but the Structure Triax prevents that specific movement. I wonder if the FSM will do the same?
Been selling the Shox FSM for about 3 months now. A decent shoe with medial posting. The 2 shox posts are more rigid on the medial side. Treadmill analysis shows structures and shox provide ~ the same support. Remember the shox are for heel strikes. And price difference between structures and shox is only $10.00. Go try them for yourself.
i dont believe the medial posting does much(they had that on the shox d). However, the medial pillars are thicker, which is supposed to help in regards to support. But in my opinion the only reason your getting any rigidity out of the shoe is because of the plastic like bottom of the shoe that runs about 3/4 length before a traditional eva midsole takes over. We sell the fsm for $110, and the structure for $90.
They do not provide as much stability as the Structures, they do provide mild support with good cushioning. The main feature is in the forefoot with the WARP technology which aids the windless effect and reduces the amount of time you are pronating.
