Well what frosh are each of these schools getting? Or are we doing this solely on the existing undergrad?

Dayton is getting local area OH athletes. A couple 9:30 3200 type guys.

While their XC times do not show well against UDayton's recruits, the track times certainly do. 3 guys at 9:19 for 2Mile is a very solid class for A10.

If these freshmen step it up in the summer and contribute to the Top 7 by the Championship Meet, could UMass overtake Lasalle and/or the Flyers?

The majority of the recruits fared much better in XC than they did on the Track. This points to a perhaps lack of commitment through the winter- hopefully this attitude does not persist into the summer months. Norris and Roeth are the 2 from the group who qualified to the Ohio State Meet in D1 and D3 respectively. The rest sputtered out towards the end really did not meet expectations coming off the Cross Country season.

I've only heard of 1 new incoming male member. I think the Women's squad is bringing in quite a few though.

Does anyone know why Xavier? Seems like an odd selection considering he was most likely recruited by U of Indiana and I'm sure a couple other Big 10 schools.

Watch out for the Owls this year... A young team surprised with 5th place last year and only lost to 4th (La Salle) by 1 point. Not to mention a few pretty good recruits that will help make a title run this fall.

As we saw last year, any team in that top 7 has a legitimate shot of winning it all. You can't count any teams out this early in the game.

Temple is not young by any means. They are gonna have virtually zero sophs and their recruiting class this year isn't exactly stellar. They will have a lot of juniors and a decent amount of seniors.

if my sources serve me correctly lasalle is losing their top 2 guys from every race last year, since jones is transferring to william and mary (pretty sure on that) and rainford has no xc seasons left. while they do have solid depth, i cant see an improvement on their 4th place finish last year

I meant that they were a young and team last year that improved a lot.
