Womens 1500 Brenda Martinez UC Riverside walks away with the title. Washington girls peaked too early. Oregon girls too tired! No answer to Brenda. She can sit and out kick any girl in the 1500 or run a fast pace and run away with it.

Do the Oregon gals really don´t have a chance in the 1500?
Is Hasay burnt out after a long year and high outdoors expectations, or has she been waiting for NCAAs to give it all there? She certainly has the talent to go sub-4:10.
Kosinski has been progressing all throughout outdoors, though she will be tired with the same-day double.
And Buckman, she has been looking strong. Seems like she might have a chance at 3rd...?
MEN
800: Casmir "Lock some up" Loxsim
1500:Andrew "I ate my Wheaties" Wheating
5000: Sam "no challengers" Chalenga
10000: Sam "eat my butthole David Mcneill with your little rat tail" Chalenga
4*800 forgot thats not an event but it should be
WOMEN
800 Phoebe "I can do no wrong" Wright
1500 Gabriele "Angela Bizzare only beat me by 1 hundreth of a second" Anderson
5000 Angela "Biznatch" Bizzare is gonna kick down the crap out of Lisa " I'ma troll" Koll
10000 Lisa "I'ma troll" Koll
Hmm…interesting picks. It should be interesting to see if Loxsom makes it out since he’s in the 3rd heat with Wheating, Gowell, and Foster. 5k for Chelenga, I wouldn’t be too cocky that he’ll be the “runaway” favorite because of 1. Doing the 10k and 2. He has McNeill to deal with (along with Derrick, Heath, Cheruiyot, and Kirwa).
Speaking of the 800m, I wished I added this earlier and apologies to Gowell for not mentioning him, he’s my dark horse (I still believe Wheating will win and honestly I hope he smokes Andrews completely), but I really like this guy’s attitude and determination and would be pretty sweet seeing him pull off the “W”, but I really don’t see this happening do to how talented Wheating is and Andrews’ kick.
Isn't Bumbalough's PR better than Heath's?
Washington, Oregon, West, West, West. No matter, even with all the hype in cross country, it turned out that the East got the best of them anyhow. The Dawgs and the Ducks are very good, but don't be surprised to see the Wildcats and Mountianeers representing in that 1500m final as well!
Actually Heath's PR is better. Bumbi ran 13:30 last year, Heath 13:29 this year. Bumbi's fitness is unclear as he was AWOL all winter and has "only" run 13:49 this year.
Chelanga will win the 5K and 10K, not sure what this injury talk is...he's the most fit and he's not American. And I think he has the most guts quite honestly to run whatever race he needs to.
chelanga is NOT hurt! idk who has been going around saying this. maybe some of the guys who are racing him?? to make themselves feel better LOL
An article said Chelanga had a slight foot injury that caused him to take some down time...then he ran 27:08 after that which surprised him. Sounds like he's healthy and the downtime allowed him to go into that 10K rested (and he clearly ran well because of that).

I'm pretty sure there was an article out AFTER cardinal invite saying he had a sore paw or something.
Yes, the article came out after Cardinal, but I thought it said he was hurting before Cardinal. Seems like he's fine now regardless.

10k- I really think this race will be the best at nationals! I'd say chelanga, cheruiyot, kibet, both kosgeis, osman, uhl,and barnicle will be the top runners. they'll sort out who's who...barnicle should be the first american.
LaLarunner. Are you insane or related to Barnicle? The 10k will be the most interested race at NCAAs? Are you serious? Does anyone think these guys would stand a chance if they were racing Chris Solinsky? Hell no. Well Chelanga is almost that good.
Chelanga in a romp.
The question Rojo, is will Chelanga be able to get his shoe stepped on, stop and fix it, catch back up and Romp like Rupp did last year. I forgot all about that until just now.
I was glad to see someone predict Derrick a while back. It's a mistake to count him out and assume it's just the Chelanga-McNeil-Bethke show. That said, Chelanga will be tough to beat, even off a 10k. Whatever problems he had last year are a distant memory. I'd love to see Derrick make a big improvement, but given the training he missed early season, I'd be satisfied to see him get 3rd. As their careers progress, I'm guessing Derrick will end up the most accomplished of the four of 'em.
Would be good to see Puskedra shake off his plateau and place high in the 10K too.

I'd say it's more the Chelanga-McNeil-Bethke-Derrick-Bumbalough show. All with PRS between ~13:20 and ~13:30. I say:
1. Chelanga
2. McNeil
3. Bumbalough
4. Derrick
5. Bethke
