Is anyone here wearing this shoe? What do you think of it? I'm a mid-foot striker and prefer a wide toe box.

I like it a lot, the Piranha 1 and 2 anyway. Haven't seen the 3. The 1 had a wider toe box than the 2 (and a better upper IMO).
Much firmer cushioning than the Wave Universe, which is of similar weight. To me, that shoe's cushion seems like it'd only be effective for very light runners.
it's great. you should get it.
I think the SP2's are amazing. I've never worn the 1's or 3's. All I know is that the 3's are heavier.
I do about 2/3 of my training in the SP1s and love them, I use the Hyper Speeds for easy/longer days. The Piranhas actually hold up really well, particularly for a shoe that light - I've gotten a couple hundred miles out of mine.
I use the Piranhas for everything up to half marathon and haven't had any problems, highly recommended.
Great! Will I have to size up a half size or can I go with my normal shoe size?
Sizing up/down will depend on what you're wearing now, but you could probably stick to the same size you're in now. I can't wear socks (circulation issues, long story) and I wear a 10 in the Piranhas and Hyper Speed (barefoot). When I used to run in the DS Trainers I wore 10.5 (with socks), if that helps.
