Poor Meb... hes hurting, HALL is smart, hes gonna come back.
Why are there military folks out walking on the course with full packs? Are they going to walk part of the course, camp out overnight, and then finish tomorrow? I'm not sure what they're trying to prove but they look silly doing it.
They act like this is a shocking move in teh women's race. No it's not. The women's race lacked any quality. I told them one of two women would win and I was right.
As for the American men, Lucas Meyer's half split is
68:21.
Sage Canaday 68:43.

Superhuman effort by the Ethopian woman? What are the commentators thinking? Paul's 2:15 is a bit more superhuman...
Hall :16 back from lead pack.

$5 well spent
Unless the lead pack is going to deliver a course record (men's race), Hall may be running sensibly. But he probably can't win from back there; a top 3, like last year, seems possible.
anyone know splits for last couple miles? Hall still clicking away 4:50lows, with these guys consecutively sub-450?
i'm getting NO commercials on the universal feed and no loss of feed either...
What a buzzkill, Ryan. =(
You don't have to pretend. Meb is American. The best American.
Why was Meb zigzagging all over the road a few minutes ago?
